BRILLANTE is an internationally recognized mother-daughter piano duo, consisting of Steinway Artist, Professor Lenora Ford Brown and Heather Thompson Smits, NCTM. They travel globally, performing their own dazzling piano arrangements. They were first place winners in the 2017 U.S. Classical International Piano Competition and have performed at venues such as Carnegie Hall and the World Piano Conference in Serbia. Lenora and Heather are both MTNA nationally certified piano teachers. Lenora is a piano professor emerita at the University of Utah, a Steinway Artist and she arranges BRILLANTE’S music.
